  2. Evaluating Audiobooks for Youth - Robin Whitten, founder of AudioFile Magazine, Connie Rockman, past member of the Odyssey Committee, and Amy Lilien‐Harper, librarian and ALSC Notable Children’ Recordings committee member, will discuss discovering, evaluating, and selecting the right audiobooks for your patrons.
  3. Book Buzz! Come hear it directly from the Macmillan, Norton, Workman/Algonquin and Harper publishing houses in this exciting tour of what’s happening next in the world of books! You may walk away with some good suggestions and advance reader copies.

The theme of the 119th annual CLA Conference is Our Common Ground. The conference will take place at Mohegan Sun on April 19-20, 2010. Early Registration ends on March 19th. Information can be found at http://www.ctlibraryassociation.org/conf.htm

Please join our library colleagues from across the state for this informative conference in recognition of the dividends we reap when we join forces with our area public libraries.
